The Boudinot Collection of Princeton University Art Museum
2014 — July 2018
In this exhibit, Morven displays the long-term loan of a large group of late 18th and early 19th century portraits, furniture, and decorative arts belonging to Elias Boudinot IV, brother-in-law of Richard Stockton and President of the Continental Congress. Additions were made annually, with one of the most recent additions made in the spring of 2010 with two sofas displaying the extremely rare survival of original foundation layers of upholstery.
