Institutional Advancements


Internship Program

Target Amount: $10,000 ($1,000 suggested contribution)

Help make Morven's incredible internship program more accessible throughout the year and provide valuable resources to support Curatorial, Education, IT, & Marketing staff. Intern compensation not only attracts qualified applicants but also offers essential support to the team.

Av System Rebuild Project

Target Amount: $15,000 ($1,000 suggested contribution)

Reliable technology is critical to running our organization. Morven’s audio visual system was installed over 5 years ago and is now showing its age. Help us repair, replace, and re-engineer the system to ensure the equipment is up-to-date and functioning to support our robust program offerings and event needs.

Target Amount: $3,000 ($500 suggested contribution)

Education is one of Morven’s core values. We are dedicated to lifelong learning, research, and sharing knowledge. Your gift supports the presentation of outstanding educational programming throughout the year. With your help, we can expand programming as part of the museum's Inclusive History Interpretive Plan exploring the legacy of slavery at Morven; further develop K-12 educational opportunities offered onsite and in the classroom; and facilitate more hands-on learning related to growing, sustainability, and the environment in Morven's gardens.

 

Morven Experience PHOTOGRAPHy

Target Amount: $4,000 ($500 suggested contribution)

Photo documentation is a key component of our marketing plan and critical to recording and sharing significant events and milestones at Morven. Your gift helps fund the hiring of professional photographers and allows us to provide FREE takeaway photos at our outdoor events, providing lasting memories for many years to come.

Inaugural Time Travel Cocktails and Dinner: Celebrate the glamorous 1930’s through the lens of Maggi and Robert Wood Johnson Jr. who made Morven their home.

Step back in time at an exclusive Robert Wood Johnson Jr. inspired dinner party catered by The Perch at Peacock Inn embracing the glamorous 1930s lifestyle of Maggi and Robert. We’ll begin the evening with cocktails and music at the Johnsons’ art moderne pool house. Guests are invited to dress the part for a transformational evening complete with live jazz music and an exquisite dinner menu.  All funds raised from this inaugural event will support Morven’s work to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the important role Morven played as the home of a Signer, Richard Stockton.

Restoration of Courtyard Trellis

Target Amount: $5,000 ($1,000 suggested contribution)

Our beautiful courtyard trellis is one of the first things visitors see when they visit Morven. As you can see, it needs considerable repair. When you grant us this wish, you will fund its much-needed restoration.

 

replace two museum Humidifiers

Target Amount: $20,000 ($1,000 suggested contribution)

Climate control is critical to maintaining the longevity of our collections on display and in storage. Your support will help fund the much-needed replacement of two humidifiers and further preserve the important stories that we share.

 

Restoration of Garden Arbor

Target Amount: $3,000 ($1,000 suggested contribution)

The beautiful garden arbor is one of the most picturesque places on Morven’s grounds. This treasured focal point of the garden needs repair. When you grant us this wish, you will fund its crucial restoration.

Horticultural Essentials


Plants, Bulbs,& Labels

Target Amount: $3,000 ($1,000 suggested contribution)

Adding plants, bulbs, and labels to the grounds at Morven will help us create more areas of interest for visitors to learn about and enjoy the site’s natural environment. With your support, we will continue to enhance Morven’s historic grounds.

Target Amount: $2,000 ($500 suggested contribution)

Events at Morven take a toll on the grounds, especially our beautiful green spaces. Your financial support for this wish will fund necessary repairs from private event wear and tear and safety upgrades.

 

Environmentally Friendly Grounds Care Equipment

Target Amount: $5,000 ($1,000 suggested contribution)

Sustainable lawn care equipment using battery-powered machines sharply reduces air pollution. With your support, we can obtain environmentally responsible tools to comply with Princeton's current and future requirements.
